OUR STORY & EVOLUTION
A new chapter built on a history of student support.
The LAAIA Foundation was established to empower the next generation of insurance professionals by helping reduce financial barriers and creating direct pathways into Risk Management & Insurance careers.
While the Foundation marks an exciting new chapter, our commitment to students is not new. For more than five years, the Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies has supported students pursuing Risk Management & Insurance education through the generosity of its members and corporate partners.
The establishment of The LAAIA Foundation as a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization positions us to expand this work nationally. We are developing relationships with university RMI programs, growing our scholarship initiatives, and strengthening connections between emerging talent and the insurance industry.
Our aim is to support students throughout their transition from education into the insurance profession by pairing academic support with opportunities for meaningful industry exposure.
